Hey friends!
So… I’ve been wanting to talk about this for a while because whenever people hear about my blog or find my page, the first question they always ask is, “Why did you start “Life with Aqeey?” And the answer isn’t just one thing. It’s a mix of moments, realizations, and little sparks that all came together.
I didn’t start this blog because I thought I had everything figured out. Actually, it’s the opposite.
I started it because I don’t have everything figured out, but I’m learning, growing, and discovering so much along the way and I wanted a space to share that journey. I kept finding myself in situations where people would ask for advice, ask how I manage certain things, or ask what keeps me motivated. And I realized… maybe the things I’m learning could help someone else too.

Another big reason?
I just love storytelling. Not the fictional kind — the real-life, honest, “here’s what I learned the hard way” kind. I like being able to sit down and talk about what’s happening in my life, whether it’s leadership experiences, youth advocacy, personal development, or those small everyday moments that teach you something without you even noticing.
Writing has always been my way of organizing the chaos in my brain, so creating a blog felt natural.
Life with Aqeey became the place where I could be the girl who’s learning, trying, dreaming, sometimes failing, sometimes surprising herself, but always growing. I wanted my blog to feel like a safe space where you can read something and say, “Same,” or “I needed this,” or even “Wow, I never thought about it that way.”
And honestly?
I wanted to document this whole phase of my life. All the steps, all the wins, all the challenges, all the funny moments… everything. One day, I want to look back and see how far I’ve come, not just in achievements, but in mindset, confidence, and purpose.
Starting this blog also pushed me to be more intentional. When you write about your experiences, you start paying attention to them differently.
You notice the lessons, the patterns, the growth. You start living more consciously. And that’s what I want, to live my life with purpose instead of just going through it.
So yeah, that’s why Life with Aqeey exists. It’s my place to share, connect, reflect, and hopefully inspire someone out there.
And if you’re reading this right now, you’re already part of the journey, which means more to me than you know.
